Monteney Wright is the Co-Owner and Director of Programs at Sprout Behavioral Health. With 15–20 years of experience in human services, behavioral health, and youth development, Mr. Wright brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise to his role.
Before co-founding Sprout Behavioral Health, he served as an active Captain at the Department of Juvenile Justice, where he oversaw youth programs, supervised staff, and worked directly with at-risk youth. His tenure in this role allowed him to develop strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the juvenile justice system, and expertise in crisis management and behavioral interventions.
Mr. Wright has also worked extensively in the private sector as a Small Business Owner, giving him valuable insight into organizational management, program development, and community engagement. His professional experience includes working as a Behavioral Aide, Mentor, Life Coach, and Case Manager, where he has directly impacted the lives of individuals and families by providing guidance, support, and structured interventions.
He is known for his passion and dedication to service, believing in a hands-on approach—“hitting the ground running”—to understand the needs of the community and provide real-world solutions. Mr. Wright emphasizes the importance of self-care, both for himself and for his team, fostering a culture of resilience, empathy, and accountability.
His leadership philosophy blends practical experience with compassion, making him an influential mentor, advocate, and program developer in the behavioral health field. He is committed to empowering families and individuals, ensuring that Sprout Behavioral Health delivers effective, evidence-based, and compassionate services to those it serves.
