About us
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to provide comprehensive mental health, behavioral health, and prevention services to impact the growth of the youth and families we support.
OUR VISION
We envision a world in which all people have access to information and treatment that can help them improve their mental and emotional health and achieve harmony, thus promoting healthier families and communities.
OUR CORE VALUES
Whole Person Approach
Understanding that every client has a unique background that makes them who they are today. Actively seeking to discover and appreciate the “whole person” – including the biological, social, cultural, psychological, educational, economic, spiritual, and environmental influences on each person’s life.
Sensitivity
We appreciate and respect the diversity and cultural differences of our patients and consider the many multidimensional aspects of their lives. We strive to provide services that reflect the context of patients’ health-related behaviors and needs, and to do so in a sensitive and caring manner.
Empathy
We strive to identify with our patients’ situations and to have a sense of their feelings and emotions related to their needs. Offering a high level of empathy enhances trust and the quality of care that our patients deserve.
Resources
We believe that solicitation and prudent utilization of resources is essential to providing effectual behavioral healthcare to our patients. We continually seek appropriate resources to meet our patients’ needs.
Virtue
We assist patients in determining what is right or wrong for them; what works or does not work for them (Prudence). We uphold patients’ rights and advocate for them (Justice). We encourage patients to remain steadfast in their recovery (Fortitude). We help patients achieve a healthy balance between legitimate needs versus inordinate wants (Temperance).
Integrity
We strongly uphold moral and ethical principles in our daily practice and in delivery of services. Trust is the belief and confidence in the integrity, reliability, and fairness of another person. We establish this trust through open and honest communication, treating each other with respect and without judgment, and being consistent in doing what we said we will do. We strive to establish positive, trusting relationships with all our clients.
Empowerment
Building relationships where our clients feel comfortable discovering and discussing what they truly want out of life. Helping clients identify their strengths and abilities and providing encouragement to reach their goals. Incorporating the social work tenant of self-determination, we highlight that every client is free to make their own decisions and choices.
Caring, Concern, And Compassion
We embrace and uphold these attributes throughout our practice of service as our patients’ wellbeing is foremost in the minds and hearts of everyone associated with Sprout Behavioral Health. Creating a judgment-free zone so that others’ perspectives or situations can be appreciated and understood when they are different from our own. Genuinely caring about the other person’s needs and values and making them feel seen, heard, and understood. Our directors, leader team and all our staff are selected because they believe in and promote our mission and values.
Healthy Boundaries
Setting and communicating healthy boundaries is essential for our health, well-being, and even our safety. Maintaining boundaries gives people a sense of control over their time, body, feelings, and physical space. Modeling healthy boundaries shows our clients the importance of respecting ourselves and our clients, and all people’s need for safety and protection.
Professional Duty
Professional duty is the commitment to provide competent and effective mental health therapy services to our clients. This includes maintaining the confidentiality of our clients and abiding by the code of ethics of our profession.
