Last March 18, Sprout Behavioral Health successfully hosted its Cultivating Excellence Virtual Conference with the theme: “Cultivating Excellence Through Clinical Integrity, Collaboration & Community Impact.” The event brought staff together for a day of meaningful learning, reflection, and connection.
Four incredible speakers shared their expertise and inspired the team. Lamonica Green, LPC discussed Trauma-Informed Practice: Stress, Burnout, Resilience, emphasizing the importance of self-awareness and sustainability in clinical work. Kristin Ratcliffe, MSW, LCSW (NC & VA) explored Constructed Awareness, encouraging deeper reflection on perspective and bias. Amina Wellons, MSW presented on MAAC: Driving Through Transitions: Navigating Foster Care, highlighting the importance of support and collaboration in transitional care. Finally, Tynnetta Muhammad spoke on Behavior Modification & Personal Achievement, leaving staff motivated to apply practical strategies in both their professional and personal lives.
Staff actively participated throughout the conference, engaging in discussions and gaining valuable insights. Fun games and exciting prizes also added energy and connection to the experience.
Overall, the event was a great success—so much so that Mrs. Wright announced it will now become an annual tradition. The conference not only strengthened clinical knowledge but also reinforced Sprout’s commitment to excellence, collaboration, and community impact.
